Many thanks to all who ventured out on the first official adults One and All MTB ride last Sunday. Nine of us took to the trails of Poldice Valley and beyond on what turned out to be a dry sunny day. The route held plenty of interest for everyone and tested those that wanted to push their own personal limits. There was very little use of the available chicken runs where things got a touch technical and I was mightily impressed with everyones 'have a go' attitude.

David had 'fall of the day', but this was probably (by his own admission) due to his unsuitable, road orientated tyres. Although Phil was a close 2nd in this particular challenge, with a graceful pirouette that left him facing back up the hill (in the heather), am guessing he was looking at heading back up to have another go!..Joe was standout sprinter on the day, going for every available landmark!..and no one won the free coffee back at bissoe on offer for getting up a particularly tricky rocky ascent in one hit in the hills behind Lanner!

Everyone seemed to enjoy the day and there were a few weary riders back at Bissoe with big smiles on. Thanks again for everyones enthusiasm.  See you all next week...

PS  For anyone looking to have a crack at the Sunday MTB rides, just a reminder that they need to have their bikes fully fettled and servicable before the ride..and whilst there will be plenty of support during a ride if needed, individuals need to be self sufficient in the tools/tubes/repairs/food/waterdepartment.  If anyone has any questions, please get in touch via Facebook.  Cheers for now, Martyn
